An Inky Situation - GUIDELINES

• Our Linky Parties are JUST FOR FUN
• Linky Party themes will be posted on the 1st day of the month
• Any stamping or punched project is welcome (no digis, please)
• Follow the theme
• You do NOT have to use Stampin' Up products
• When there is a color theme, you do not need to use Stampin' Up colors. We just use the color names as a base for reference.
• Enter no more than one project a week

Card Stock - So Saffron, Early Espresso, Calypso Coral, Whisper White

Ribbon - Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon (dyed in Marina Mist ink)

Creating Cards 101 Mini Class

Have you ever want to make your own handmade cards? Did you have thoughts of the following:

• It's too much money
• I'm not creative
• I don't have that kind of time

I am here to tell you that it doesn't have to be. When I started crafting six years ago, I thought many of the same things you might be feeling.  I am no expert on creating cards, but I want to share the things I have learned along the way.

As a matter of fact, I spent a lot of time and money on different products because I thought it was what I needed to make an awesome card.

I am here to help prevent you from making the same mistakes I'd made.

Lesson 2: Essential tools that every crafter need.

Lesson 3: How to save money crafting.

Lesson 4: How to find inspiration to help jumpstart your creativity.

Welcome to Funday Friday Challenge #10!  This week, we have a fun challenge for you!  Everyone loves bling, right?  This week's theme is to use bling on your project.  This week's sponsor is Carri aka A Busy Bee and she is giving away some of her skittles.

Here is what I created for the challenge...

I used the Wildflower Meadow stamp set and embossing folder to create this card.  This is a great bundle to have to create a simple, elegant card.

Do you see my bling on the my card?  Well, this is what skittles are.  No, you can't eat them.  I love the added touch they bring to the card.

Welcome to the Funday Friday Challenge over at Jo's Scrap Shack!  This week's theme is Summer Fun.  We had to make a card/LO/project that represents summer.  I decided to pull out my pinwheels2stamp set from The Stamps of Life.  

For this card, I created another z-fold card.  I am really loving this template created by Connie Stewart.  It takes the stress out of card making if you want something to put together quickly.  I hope you enjoy today's card and don't forget to head over to Jo's Scrap Shack to play along!

Stampin' Up! - Happiest Thoughts

Hi stampers! A couple of weeks ago, I discovered two templates for making quick cards.  The templates are are called Flash Cards and Flash Cards 2.0, which was created by fellow demonstrator Connie Stewart.  I have included links to the original video.

I have decided to give the templates a try and I created this adorable card.  I usually don't do a lot of two step stamping, but using the Stippled Blossom stamp set, it turned out so beautiful!

Out with the Old, In with the New

For those of you that follow my facebook page, you may know my announcement already.  A month ago, I decided to leave A Muse Studio and my Avon business.  I just wasn't finding my joy anymore. When it comes to creating, I don't like to over think things or I become really stressed out.  

However, I love getting discounts.  I have rejoined Stampin' Up! Over the last two years, I have found myself going back to my SU! products.  Back then, I was new to stamping, but now that I have been doing it for three years, I have a better understanding.  I have also found that SU! is the right place for me.
